Comparison from Gen1(other generic brands) to M-LIGHT's Gen 2 LED headlights

This picture shows the lens from a new M-LIGHT headlight compared to a used M-LIGHT and a used Gen 1. These three headlights have approximately 90,000km of driving on them each.

The M-LIGHT lens are hard coated hyper poly-carbonate vs the regular poly-carbonate on the Gen 1. This lets the lens be more resistant to scratches and not allow it to fade to that yellowish haze. These lenses can buff easily to restore your light to "like new" condition.

M-LIGHT Headlights have an aimed low beam. This helps disburse the light in the more important areas of the road.

M-LIGHT's 4x6 Headlight had a pressure port located in the rear. This helps extract any humidity inside the sealed beam keeping it from fogging up.

M-LIGHT Gen 2 have increased heat syncing. This helps disburse heat quicker and more efficiently throughout the light.  The housing is also black powder coated die-cast aluminium.

Much heaver wiring. A solid plug with high quality connections.

The beam pattern is wider on M-LIGHT's Gen 2.  Much less light spilling over top.

The colour temperature is lower (5500k) on the Gen 2. (6000K on Gen 1)   The higher colour temperature makes it more reflective and harsher to use in wet or snowy conditions.

M-LIGHT strives to be better then the rest! They have a excellent product that is built with a Canadian work environment in mind.  Their die-cast aluminum housing, Hard coated Polycabonate, heaving wiring and connectors really set it part from anything thing that looks even close.  Don't be fooled by the imitations. These are genuine M-LIGHT lights!
